How Volition Celebrated Halloween

Halloween is no joke here. Every year we dim the lights and turn on the spooky music and get ready for an onslaught of trick or treaters. All our employees bring their kids in, and for two hours in the afternoon the hallways are crowded with costumed kids going from office to office, grabbing candy and toys, scaring each other, and asking complicated questions about the concept art on our walls. A lot of our employees get dressed up as well, as you can see from this post on Kotaku. Not me though. Too busy updating the website to be thinking about putting together a costume.

Attention EA Chicago Employees

We were very sorry to hear about EA closing down your office. I know EA Chicago and Volition work for two different corporations, but all boats rise together, and it’s a big hit for the Midwest to be losing one of the bigger studios in the area.

We would love it if the talented people at EA Chicago would consider staying here in the Midwest. Volition has a number of positions available for Programmers, Artists and Designers. We have quite a few former EA employees here already, and they’ve been very successful here, so we would welcome hearing from any of you who might be interested in exploring Volition.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email kfanning@volition-inc.com.

Thanks and take care.
