John Gnuechtel

John was born in Chicago, Illinois. After a short stint as a college career trombonist, he migrated south to Orlando, Florida, where he worked on video football and played in bands. The Florida heat eventually caused John to become dehydrated, and he decided to move up the East Coast to NYC. There, he worked for two years helping people pretend to shoot each other. Secretly, John yearned for the simpler life where he could rope tornadoes while riding horseback, so in early 2008, he returned to Illinois. John hopes to mount the head of a captured tornado above his fireplace next spring.
