Programmer
From the moment Mark realized that there were people who made games for a living, he’s wanted to help create them. This desire naturally led him to enroll at DigiPen Institute of Technology. After four years of learning, including four major game projects, seven math courses, and twenty-one computer science courses, he was awarded his B.S. degree in Real-Time Interactive Simulation.
Mark’s most-loved genre is space combat, with Wing Commander: Privateer his favorite of that type. His all-time favorite game is System Shock 2, with Deus Ex and Half-Life close behind. More recently, he’s been playing Oblivion and Ghost Recon- Advanced Warfighter on his homebuilt PC.
Volition was a natural choice for Mark, having been a big fan of their previous games, in particular the Freespace series. At Volition, Mark is slowly recovering from the shock of getting his dream job right out of college. He’s also working on an unannounced project, doing gameplay and tools programming.
