Michael Slone

Programmer

Mike’s dreams of rock-and-roll fame were crushed in 2002 when his band broke up, so he formulated a new—and frankly, way more awesome—plan: to become a video game programmer. He studied the ways of the nerd day and night at Illinois Institute of Technology, dedicating any unspent educational enthusiasm to game-related topics. After a short stint in the railroad industry, he applied at Volition, where they tried him by fire in many programming battles. When they were satisfied with his ability to stand up to their challenges, they hired him. He now fights valiantly to bring the bizarre visions of Volition’s design team to life.
