Mike Flavin

Born behind the Iron Curtain to a family of shoesmiths, Mike was recruited at the age of 2 into the prestigious Soviet National Combined Computer Science and Bear-Wrestling Team. After the end of the Cold War, he moved to America, where he worked as a chimney sweep, intellectual property lawyer, and rock tumbler, before arriving in Champaign in a box car and seeking shelter in the nearest office building. The rest, as they say, is history.

(Actually, a native of New York and graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the University of Illinois, Mike came to Volition in 2004 and has shipped several titles in the Saints Row and Red Faction franchises.)
