Nick Heilmann

Born an outsider in the barren lands of Indiana, Nick attended Purdue University in the hopes of someday realizing his dreams of making video games for a living.

In his youth he was like any other child, glued to the TV with a controller in his hands. Over time, however, the controller slowly fused with his hands, eventually replacing his “natural” appendages. Fortunately for him, Nick later developed a new set of fingers and an affinity for obfuscated code. Through a series of events that can only be described as serendipitous, Nick found his way to Volition.

It is said that he can be found to this day lurking the halls of Volition late at night, a mutated shadow of his former self.
