If you have Silent Threat installed, you should get the 1.06 version for the international release type shown on the UPC/Bar code on the bottom of the Silent Threat box. For example, if you have a German version of FreeSpace and the US version of Silent Threat installed, you should update using the US version of the 1.06 patch.

PLEASE make sure you download the correct update for the Localized release you're using.
You can easily tell what release you have by looking at the white UPC label on your FreeSpace box.
TIP: If you have the US or UK versions and an Internet connection/ISP, you can automatically update
FreeSpace by hitting the "Update FreeSpace" button in the FS Launcher.
